In this campground you will find 4 primitive campsites and one shelter to be shared between the sites. Booking this area reserves all four sites allowing up to four camping units. Additional camping units can be added by contacting the Lake Tschida Office.  This is the only campground at Lake Tschida that will accommodate horses. 

We have added four 12'x12' pens each with a 6' gate opening and horse latch for your use while your camping at Hidden Shelter.  While camping in Hidden Shelter you will also have access to riding areas that extend from Hidden Shelter to the far west of Sled Creek Campground Area. This is a beautiful area sure to offer some fun riding with great views of the lake along the way. Please use the maps page of this website to explore these riding opportunities. If you  have questions please direct them to the Lake Tschida Office. 

This site will not have electricity. You are welcome to bring a generator. This will be the only campground that will allow generator use during quiet hours. 

Cost per night when booking this area will be $56.00 per night. Additional units beyond 4 will be charged at a rate of $14.00 per night. All additonal units must be approved by the Lake Tschida Office and the customer making initial booking. 

This campground conversion is a new project for Lake Tschida. We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve and develop this area.
