CAMPSITE & CABIN CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Cancellations must be made by calling the office (701-584-2201) during regular business hours as listed on the main page.


Leaving a message on the lake's answering system is not acceptable. You must speak with an employee in person.


Credit card refunds generally take anywhere from 5 to 10 days. 


Reservations cannot be made by leaving a message on the lake's answering system.


Cancelled reservations paid by cash or check will have a refund check (minus required fees) issued by the Tri-Cities Joint Job Development Authority (TCJJDA) within 30 days.


  1. There is a $10 cancellation fee if the reservation is cancelled 6 days or more before the start of the reservation.
  2. There is a 50% cancellation fee if the reservation is cancelled 5 days or less before the start of the reservation or if during your stay you decide to leave early and is based upon the remaining days and also subject to the 24 hour notice rule.
  3. There is NO REFUND if the reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the reservation based upon the check in time of 2PM.
  4. There is a $20 fee to change the date or the campsite of the reservation.
  5. There is NO REFUND of the 5% Taxes/Fees.
  6. There is NO REFUND if you don't show.
  7. There is NO REFUND for inclement weather days.
  8. There is a $35 fee for all returned checks.

CANCELLATION POLICY ON GILLIGAN'S CABIN ONLY

 IF FOR ANY REASON A PERSON WOULD NEED TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION FOR THE GILLIGAN'S CABIN THE FOLLOWING POLICY WILL APPLY: 


  • IF CANCELLATION IS MADE 30 DAYS OR GREATER IN ADVANCE A 50% REFUND OF THE BOOKING(BEFORE TAXES/FEES) WILL APPLY. 
  • IF CANCELLATION IS MADE LESS THAN 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE A 25% REFUND OF THE BOOKING (BEFORE TAXES/FEES) WILL APPLY. 
  • IF CANCELLATION IS MADE LESS THAN 24 HOURS NO REFUND OF THE RESERVATION WILL TAKE PLACE.

CANCELLATIONS CAN NOT BE MADE BY LEAVING A MESSAGE ON THE PHONE OR IN AN EMAIL. YOU MUST TALK TO A LAKE TSCHIDA STAFF TO COMPLETE A CANCELLATION.
